Half Hog - $4/lb Hanging Weight Plus Cut and Wrap-$100 Deposit

WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT FOR A NUMBER OF MONTHS. WE ARE STILL TAKING DEPOSITS BUT IT'S LOOKING LIKE WE WILL BE INTO MID WINTER BEFORE WE HAVE ANY MORE BUTCHER READY.

 A good way to get your feet wet if you're not sure exactly how much meat you will use. Great in that you still get to choose exactly what is done with your entire half of the animal. Still less expensive than individual cuts but a smaller commitment. 

 

HOW IT WORKS? 

  1. We take a $100 deposit for a half hog, once received we schedule a kill date with the butcher. 
  2. Before your butcher date we contact you to help you in filling out your cut sheet.
  3. The butcher comes to the farm and does an on-farm slaughter. This is the most humane/stress free method which consequently also lends itself to the highest end quality product. At this point we get a hanging weight from the butcher and contact you with the balance due to the farm based on the hanging weight.
  4. Lastly, once your processing is complete the butcher will contact you to let you know what your total due is to them and your meat is ready for pickup. 
  5. You get to enjoy a product that cannot be replicated with todays modern breeds and factory farm practices.
