Whole Hog - $3.50/lb Hanging Weight Plus Cut and Wrap - $200 deposit

WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT FOR A NUMBER OF MONTHS. WE ARE STILL TAKING DEPOSITS BUT IT'S LOOKING LIKE WE WILL BE INTO MID WINTER BEFORE WE HAVE ANY MORE BUTCHER READY.

The most cost effective way to get you and your family a great suppy of the best pastured pork out there! Hanging weight varies but we aim for around 200 lbs. We can try to accommodate a buyer if a slightly smaller or larger hog is desired however we have found the highest quality seems to be in this weight range. This package gives you the most control over what cuts you recieve. We can help you in filling out your cut sheet and will coordinate with a mobil butcher of your choosing from one of our local options. Yield varies depending on what cuts are chosen however averages somewhere around 150 lbs of cut and wrapped meat on a 200 lb hanging weight. HOW IT WORKS? 

  1. We take a $200 deposit for a whole hog, once received we schedule a kill date with the butcher. 
  2. Before your butcher date we contact you to help you in filling out your cut sheet.
  3. The butcher comes to the farm and does an on-farm slaughter. This is the most humane/stress free method which consequently also lends itself to the highest end quality product. At this point we get a hanging weight from the butcher and contact you with the balance due to the farm based on the hanging weight.
  4. Lastly, once your processing is complete the butcher will contact you to let you know what your total due is to them and your meat is ready for pickup. 
  5. You get to enjoy a product that cannot be replicated with todays modern breeds and factory farm practices.
